Nankai University is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education and the alma mater of beloved Premier Zhou Enlai.Nankai University was founded in 1904 by Yan Xiu and Zhang Boling, adhering to the concept of saving the nation through education. It was founded in 1919.In 1937, the campus was bombed by the Japanese invaders and the school moved south.
